The BizFed alliance will be powered by a set of streamlined, easy to deploy communication assets and tools:

Business Database

To underscore its strength in numbers, BizFed has engaged the Marshall School of Business at the at a major local university to develop and manage a comprehensive database of Los Angeles businesses who are active members of a chamber, trade group, or economic development organization belonging to BizFed. The resultant aggregated data will include locations and number of employees and will be updated annually for tactical use with federal, state, county and local lawmaking officials towards BizFed’s stated goals. All specific data provided to the major local university is confidential and will not be shared with third parties. It simply and powerfully demonstrates the collective reach of the BizFed members.

Action Alerts

BizFed will mobilize the business community on key issues through a Web based Action Alert system. BizFed’s Action Alerts will enable partnering member organizations and their individual business members to quickly - and efficiently –take action to inform elected officials on business issues collaboratively identified as critical to the region.
