In case you missed it, or you want to dig deeper in to what President Obama has announced as his priorities this year, from last nite’s State of the Union speech, you can watch the video and read the full transcript.

In the coming days respective Cabinet secretaries will also be holding specific phone conferences on:

1.Transportation

2.Energy

3.Gun Control

4.Immigration

Clearly these are the subjects that are going to garner this Administration’s greatest attention in the near term. Stay engaged and stay informed.

 

Check it out! Right to Petition Your Government is a First Amendment right, and this link connects you directly to the White House website. Currently 240 active petitions are posted. You’ll see everything from Funding High Speed Rail nationally (coast to coast), to legalizing Marijuana federally, to recognizing Lunar New Year as a national Holiday. It’s takes 25,000 signers of a petition to be able to officially advance to the White House. This online tool makes it fairly easy to mobilize a campaign.
