Keep CA Green & Golden with CEQA Reform

WIth BizFed members' ongoing commitment and involvement in statewide efforts to eliminate CEQA abuses, a recent op-ed in the San Diego Union-Tribune renews the emphasis on the need for reforms.

Authored by Governors Deukmejian, Wilson, and Davis, the op-ed - "Keep California Green and Golden with CEQA Reforms" - speaks to the need for reforms to the CEQA process that will provide economic certainty to the private sector in concert with the needs of environmental protection.

The piece emphasizes that a refocus on these desired outcomes and a shift away from CEQA abuse will provide job opportunities for Californians, save taxpayer dollars, and restore CEQA to its original intent – protecting California’s unique environment.
